Slowhand, the ultimate Eric Clapton Tribute Show, recreates a live Eric Clapton concert, complete with the music, the look, and the guitars. Entertaining Ohio audiences since 1994, Slowhand performs the timeless music of Eric Clapton's solo career, along with the mega-hit songs of Cream, Blind Faith, and Derek & the Dominoes.
Slowhand performs all music and vocals live with no tracks, sequencers, or electronic harmonizers. Rick Bailey performs the role of Eric Clapton, singing the lead vocals and playing lead guitar. Outstanding harmony vocals and music are provided by four additional musicians. To duplicate the famous Clapton guitar tone, Rick exclusively uses Eric Clapton signature guitars like the ones played by Mr. Clapton in concert today, including a Martin 000-28 Acoustic for the unplugged segment, a custom-painted psychedelic SG for the Cream segment, 2 custom-painted Fender Stratocasters, and, of course, Blackie.
